Bilingual English-Spanish Story Time
Saturday mornings from 10 - 11 AM
Every Saturday morning, you can bring
the kiddos down for a story in English with Spanish vocabulary, a game of
Spanish BINGO and a related craft to wrap up the hour. While story time is
intended for ages 4-8, most children find one of the activities fun and
educational.
LGBTQA Book Club
Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at 1 PM
LGBTQA Book Club is hosted by Stephen at Indigo Bridge. It meets one Saturday a month, with the next meeting's date and selection announced at the prior meeting. Book club books are available for 15% off. This week's selection is Fun Home by Alison Bechdel.The Table
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, with Indigo Bridge, continues to serve The Table with soup and bread on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Volunteers provide the backbone of this community program and are always welcome. If interested, e-mail their Volunteer Coordinator. The food is available on a pay-as-you-can basis rather than with a set menu price so that everyone can afford to sit at The Table. There is great food, good conversation and a fantastic time waiting for you.
Lacy Lucy's Young Adult Book Club

The Lacy Lucy's meet every Tuesday at 4. While the book selections are great for young adults they are also good for mature younger readers and older adults who like fantastic books. Books come predominantly from the YA section but you'll also see straight fiction, fantasy and whatever looks best while the club picks out books. Book club books are available for 15% off. pm. Contributors from the Inaugural Winter Issue of The Lincoln
Underground Literary Magazine will be reading their work, and the newly
released magazine will be available for $5 a copy. And as always, anyone
and everyone is welcome at Open Mic Night to share their work or just
come and listen.
The Lincoln Underground is
a new literary magazine published four times a year, created and put
together by Indigo Bridge Open Mic Night hosts Amy Keller
and Jeff Martinson, and Open Mic Night regulars Ciara McCormack, Erica
Olivera, and David Frenzel. They welcome submissions of any kind of

Women's Diabetes Support Book Group

The Women's Diabetes Support Book Group is a community social support program, hosted by Amelia Montes, for women who are interested in a new dietary way to live. This is one part information and education based and one part support and shared experience based. You don't have to be a woman living with diabetes to join this group, as its goal is to help create a better life balance for those with diabetes or those helping loved ones. You don't have to read a specific book to attend, discussion revolves around a variety of sources.
IndiZOO: Fez the Armadillo

IndiZOO. IndiZOO features animal-related
stories, animal-based crafts and, of course, the animals! We're teaming up with the Lincoln Children's Zoo on Friday the 10th to bring you Fez the Famous, a three-banded armadillo! Learn about what Fez eats, how his body acts as armor and let your little ones have the chance to pet him. We'll have several stories and a super-cute craft to wrap up the hour.

Known to the group as GNBC, this book club self-describes their meeting as, "We spend anywhere from 1-3 hours discussing the reading selection, related topics and things not even tangentially related. Whenever possible we make-up excuses to see comic adaptations together. Or have a holiday party. Or play board games." Book club books are available for 15% off.
