Are you open To in-store browsing?

We are happy to say we have opened for pop-up browsing by appointment. 

Many know that Indigo Bridge opened in the historic Haymarket in Lincoln, NE in 2008. We relocated in the middle of the pandemic to another historic building about 15 blocks away from the original site. Renovation is needed to transform this building into a neighborhood bookstore and we expect to open our retail space by 2021. 

Until then, we are operating out of the second-floor apartment above our intended retail space. Make an appointment to browse our new location here.

My order is being shipped. When can I expect it to arrive?

The best way to order books is through our online store. We process orders Sundays and Mondays 11a - 3p and Wednesdays 1p - 8p.

You can choose curbside pick-up or shipping to get your books. If you choose shipping, you can expect your order to arrive within 4 - 7 business days.

Can I pick up my order?

Of course! Shop our online store, make an order, and chose Curbside during checkout. Pick up your order anytime during our curbside hours (Sundays and Mondays 11a - 3p and Wednesdays 1p - 8p) by calling 402-477-7770 when you are outside.

Where are you located?

We are located on the corner of 14th and B Street in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our official address will be 1245 S 14th St. This address is our retail location that is undergoing renovations and next door to Transformations Thrift Store. Our pop-up space is located directly above the retail space. To get to our pop-up space search for 1346 B St. or look for the green door on the Southside of the building.

I don’t know what to read. Do you recommend books?

Yes! We love recommending books. You can view our staff favorites here. Our discovery boxes ask a few questions about your reading preferences and a knowledgeable bookseller will curate recommendations just for you.


What is your returns policy?

We will give full refunds with a receipt within 90 days.

How do I book an event?

Do you buy used books or take donations?

Unfortunately, no, we do not buy used books or take book donations.

Do you Accept books to sell on consignment?

How do I become a Storyteller?

We firmly believe in the power of storytelling, and we are working to facilitate community storytelling exhibits. Please reach out to Emma Ebito at [email protected] for more information on how to join our project.

Are pets allowed?

Because of our cafe, we only allow service pets at this time.

We think pets are usually dogs and cats, but any service pet that’s well-trained and not potentially dangerous or unpleasant is also allowed in our pop-up space.

Don’t have time to read books?

Listen to them instead! Audiobooks are perfect for listening to while working, going on road trips, or doing chores around the house. When you're bored of podcasts or listening to the same music every day, go with audiobooks to provide a soundtrack to your day!
